THE CHURCH IS FAILING AT DISCIPLESHIP
It is unfortunate, yet true, that the church has failed—and continues to fail—in her core responsibility: raising disciples.
A disciple is not just a churchgoer. A disciple is someone whose life and nature have been transformed to reflect Christ—a person who has denied themselves anything that contradicts the will of God. Disciples are not swayed by the worldly passions of this age; they have been crucified with Christ and no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them.
Instead, the modern church has become preoccupied with raising followers—
People who:
-
Come to church only for what they can get from God
-
Claim Christianity outwardly, but inwardly remain unchanged
-
Hold big titles and occupy visible positions, yet their lives mirror the world
-
Flaunt mantles, anointing oil, crucifixes, church regalia, and holy accessories as badges of spirituality—but lack the true transformation that Christ requires
Let me be clear: there's nothing inherently wrong with these physical expressions of faith. But without a renewed heart and a regenerated life, these things can make one worse than an unbeliever who has never heard the Gospel.
Some people have chosen denominational symbolism and external sanctimony over true knowledge of God. They appear holy on the outside but are inwardly untransformed.
It is time to stop the deception.
These religious accessories and habits cannot replace the TRUTH that sets a person free.
🔥 KNOW THE LORD FOR YOURSELF AND BY YOURSELF.
🔥 STOP BEING A FOLLOWER—BECOME A DISCIPLE.
🔥 ONLY THE TRUTH CAN MAKE YOU FREE.
May you rise above religious routine and embrace the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ.
